O'Sullivan achieved a century break at the age of 10, making 117, then scored a maximum break at 15 before he turned professional at 16.

Most recent season review : 2007/08 Season
This season proved to be arguably the best season of O'Sullivan's career to date.
At the beginning of the campaign he made it to the final of the Royal London Watches Grand Prix, although he lost to Marco Fu 9 – 6.

His fourth UK title came when he beat a succession of great player to win the Maplin UK Championship beating Stephen Maguire by an incredible 10 frame – 2.

O'Sullivan made it to the final of the Welsh Open, however suffered defeat to Selby.

O'Sullivan won the 2008 888.com World Snooker Championship and joined only Hendry and Steve Davis to lift the trophy 3 times at the famous Crucible.

As well as his titles won in the 2007/08 season O'Sullivan achieved 3 maximum breaks taking his total to 9, overtaking Hendry's record of 8, and he also regained his number 1 ranking space.

Other Hobbies :
O'Sullivan enjoys spending time with his family, O'Sullivan and Jo Langley have a daughter and a son, Lily who was born in February 2006 and his son also called Ronnie who was born in June 2007.
Keen long distance runner.

Other interesting Facts :
In 2004 O'Sullivan appeared on Top Gear as the “Star in a Reasonbly priced car” and finished with a lap time of 1:47.3
In 2004 O'Sullivan also bought out his autobiography Ronnie: The Autobiography of Ronnie O'Sullivan.
