World Number 2 Stephen Maguire Is Beaten In Quarter Finals By Neil Robertson
Melbourne's Robertson went on to beat the World number 2 13 – 8 after holding an overnight lead of 5 frames to 3.
Should Robertson get himself to the final, he would be the first Australian to reach the final since 1975 when Eddie Charlton made it through to the final stage.
Robertson will now face Shaun Murphy in the semi-final, after Murphy beat seven times world champion Hendry in his quarter final match.
